Board of Apprenticeship Training
Objectives
To establish a liaison between the technical institutions and the industries in the respective Region.
To secure facilities for training in different establishments both Government, Private and Public sector Organisations for the products of technical institutions.
To make out Training Programmes for Trainees in consultation with them and industries and other agencies and promote Industrial Relations in the area of Engg./Tech.
To implement the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, in respect of Graduate, Technician and Technician (Vocational) Apprentices.
Implementations of Apprentices Act, 1961 in respect of Graduate, Technician and Technician (Vocational) apprentices is done through Four Board of Apprenticeship/Practical Training.
